The American Institute of Polish Culture invites you to a free screening of “Walesa: Man of Hope” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17.
The film, directed by the Oscar-winning Andrezj Wajda, is a depiction of the life of Nobel Peace Prize winner and the legendary leader of Poland’s Solidarity movement, Lech Walesa, as events in the 1970s lead to a peaceful revolution.
The movie is in Polish with English subtitles.
A pre-screening reception with light bites and drinks will precede the film.
