After the unexpected death of an old friend from high school, a U.S.-based physician returns to his native Panama to pay his respects. As he visits the cemetery, he relives his memories from his time at the prestigious St. Vierja Academy.
Facing memories of challenges and personal struggles, he is forced to confront old wounds and questions the beliefs that shaped his identity.
“St. Vierja Academy” is the inspiring story of our protagonist who struggles to survive the bullying, ridicule, abuse and rigor of one of the most exclusive Catholic schools in Panama in the 1970s.
