"One of Keaton's best works. Its plot development, drawing of comedy characters and imaginative comic incidents place it among the great screen comedies of all time."

The Norton Herrick Center presents Buster Keaton's SHERLOCK JR as a Cosford Classic. The film will be presented on 35mm and features a live musical accompaniment from students in the Frost School of Music. This special and exclusive screening celebrates the 90th anniversary of Keaton's classic comedy.
Widely regarded as one of the most visually inventive silent comedies ever made, SHERLOCK JR. offers fast-paced slapstick as well as a brilliant deconstruction of the filmmaking process. Keaton stars as a movie theatre projectionist who dreams of becoming a super-sleuth and, in one breathtaking sequence, literally steps into the screen to bring his fantasies to life.
